Weather in Russia in most places is very changeable. Sometimes heavy shower can turn a parking lot into the lake in a five minutes. It's not a typical picture for this point, but this happend time to time although rainwater drainage is in place. You always should be ready for any kind of weather in our country. That's why umbrella is a "must have" thing in Russia. Be sure to have one when you travel. In winter (December, January and February) in most places you no need umbrella.
